I use Photoshop CS on a Mac G4 (PPC), OS X 10.4.11.
When I have the Layers window showing, it disappears every time I click the image I am working on or almost anything else, and has to be recalled. This does not happen with other windows, and it seems to be a new development; I am sure it used not to happen until recently. I should be most grateful if someone could tell me why this might be happening and, especially, what can be done about it.
