Hi,
Just a quick question on technique.?I cut out a picture of two woman from a office background.?I then wanted to put a scene of Times Square behind them.?When I did, it just does not look quite right.?That is, the woman do not look like they are in the background scene, rather they look too sharp.?I will put a picture up there..
Please understand, I just worked on this for a few minutes and have to leave for a little while.?So while I was gone, I thought I would get some save advise.
Thanks as always to this great forum and all the pros,
Bob
Quick question about placing one photo...For a reasonable quick fix you can just use the Blur tool on the sharp border round the girls or you can take the original selection of the girls before putting them in Times Square and feather it a little.
Quick question about placing one photo...also try using Image-%26gt;Adjustments-%26gt;Match Color to get the colors of the two layers to blend better together
I'd use the eraser tool to touch up the edges better, they're a little rough.
thanks guys... apprediate the quick response
In addition to the above, the biggest problem here is that the light doesn't match, even as a ''simulated'' fill-flash long-exposure shot.
The girls appear pale and washed out against the rich, deeply saturated background. Pull down the deep shadows a little with a curves adjustment layer. This will also boost saturation a little.
Maybe that's what Zeno meant.
yep, that's what i meant. Though it's dialog box is a bit funky, Match Color does just that pretty well.
I tried that old Lighting Effects filter. It did pretty well!?
